Me

Marcus Mapp

According to hokiesports.com, I was born on January 12, 1993 in Nassawadox, VA of Eastern Shore of Virginia at Shore Memorial Hospital which is currently Riverside Medical.  My parents are William and Sharron Mapp and both were born on the Eastern Shore also.  I started school at South Accomack Elementary School for Kindergarten until the completion of the 5th  grade.  The following fall I attended Nandua Middle School for grades 6th through 8th grade and I participated in basketball and baseball and in the 8th grade I played football for the junior varsity squad at Nandua High School because there was not middle school football.  After completing middle school, I attended Nandua High School for grades 9 through 12.  There I participated in football, basketball, tennis, and track & field.  My junior and senior year I became captain for all the teams I played for.  I joined BETA and DECA joins my junior and senior year and went to many events and volunteered for many activities that raised money and other issues.  When graduating Nandua High School I was awarded with an Advanced Diploma and an Auto-CAD Drafting Seal for completing the Technical Drawing requirements and many other seals for which I have no clue of.  From Facebook, I worked at Food Lion Inc. as a bagger from March 2011 to present.  Also I'm apart of the Virginia Tech's class of 2015 as an Engineering student.  At the beginning of August I went to Blacksburg for Training Camp because I play football for Virginia Tech.  The camp last tilled the beginning of classes and the coaches decided to Red-shirt me, which means I will not be playing for an entire year so I still have four eligibility years of playing football.  Now I am currently taking classes at Virginia Tech and majoring in Engineering and not sure which kind of engineering.  And now I'm writing this blog for based on research on myself.
